We're so excited to introduce our newest artist, Lina Torres. Lina's work is fun, crisp, and borders on surreal. Here's what she has to say about her work:
The idea of my project, is based on my own dreams, were I have faced moments in which I feel a deep emotion for a specific person, but when I try to see the person face, the face doesn’t exist or I can’t see it clearly. Moreover, the idea is to develop those moments into this surreal photographies, in an effort to reveal the blurry silhouettes into forms, colors and textures.
Join us for an opening reception this First Friday, February 1 from 6-8pm to see Lina's new collection and meet her in person. We'll provide light refreshments and, as always, good company.
