Meet Kaitlin: E-Commerce Intern

Where are you from?

Martinez, Ca.

 

What do you do at Viscera?

I’m a brand new intern! I will be working on the e-commerce aspect of the business. This means I will be updating the website and trying to expand the Viscera Studio brand to new audiences.

 

What are some of your interests and aspirations?

I love all things design. Fashion, graphic and interior design are some of the things that I love. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors, hiking and exploring new places. Photography is another one of my interests that I am trying to do more of. When I am not outdoors you can find me in the kitchen. I love all things cooking and love to try new recipes and cook for friends.

 

How do you describe your style?

I am always updating and trying to incorporate new things into wardrobe. My go to will always be a pair of black slim fit jeans and a t-shirt. I love to accessorize that classic look with a statement jacket or I place with a bold shoe or cool jewelry. 

 

Favorite clothing item you own?

I enjoy when I get a new pair of black jeans and I have a weakness for shoes.

 

 

Most coveted item in the store?

It would be a toss up between Praire Underground Spare Change Cardigan and the Just Black Super Soft Wash Denim in black.

 

Favorite spot in Oakland?

The Fox Theater is so iconic, and I love seeing it lit up at night. It is definitely one of my favorite venues to catch a show.

 

Favorite song at the moment?

Alina Baraz—Make You Feel.

 

Favorite designer and why?

Riccardo Tisci is one of my favorites. If I could wear one of his gowns everyday…I would! They are so beautiful, yet so bold.
